Maston Oy was founded in 1968, when we took the first steps in the manufacture of aerosols in Finland. Our company experienced an abrupt growth in 1987, when we purchased two undertakings and consolidated our entire production into Finland. We are the leading manufacturer of aerosols in Finland and the oldest in amongst operating aerosol manufacturers of Northern Europe. Today, the staff of Maston Oy have an innovate expert in surface treatment at their disposal, a genuine Finnish company.
Reliable partner
Our professionalism and products have led to the ability to support our clients even in the most demanding matters, both technically and in terms of production. Reliable deliveries are part of our everyday activities – our main products are always available in our warehouses. We provide 98.7% security of provision! Dun & Bradstreet Finland OY has granted Maston OY AAA credit rating certificate, which has been received by only 4.4% of Finnish companies.
Product development and patents
We are developing our products constantly so that you would have technically truly competent, easy-to-use surface treatment means made of the best raw materials available. We have developed and patented numerous new solutions which make the application of our products even easier, also enhancing the quality of work. For example:
Water-based Maston H2O! aerosol paint is classified non-flammable pursuant to the Commission directive 2008/47/EC, the first of its kind in the EU.
This label means that corresponding Maston aerosol product is fitted with a patented Blue Sprayjet type adjustable nozzle, which ensures optimum results.
Environment and recycling
We always consider the potential burden to the environment in our product development and production processes. For example, water-based Maston H2O aerosol paint contains 90% less volatile organic compounds (VOC). Our Veikkola factory, renovated in 2004-2005, is operating on pellet fuel and already conforms to almost any safety and environmental requirements of the future. All our products are always consistent with the legislation – VOC, Reach, notices on safety of use, etc. The caps of Maston spray bottles are made of reprocessed plastic! In order to save exhaustible resources we recycle all usable metal.
Products and quality
We are the largest manufacturer and packager of aerosols in Finland. Packages less than a litre constitute the biggest production share of the four production lines in our factories. In addition to aerosol products we also package other liquid products, including brushable paints. Owing to our experienced staff and modern production methods we manage the entire production process from raw materials to packaging and delivery. Before starting the production the quality of each product line is tested separately. Uniform quality of the product line is ensured by checking every tenth product separately in the course of production.
Production and Logistics
Thanks to the great location of our factory nearby Helsinki, we deliver quick and efficient logistic solutions anywhere in Europe, particularly in Scandinavia the Baltic States and Russia. A warehouse of 3000 m2 erected next to the production plant enables us to store and release over 1,000,000 products. Place an order for most of our warehoused products before noon and we will send it out the same day.
Private Label and package refilling
Almost 25% of our annual total production is formed by Private Label products and refilled packages. We are servicing a lot of international companies operating in various areas of activity. All Maston’s products bear the Key Flag label that proves their Finnish origin.
A clean environment, state of the art technology, top design, quality and safety – the word Finnish has a lot of positive connotations.
